MED PAY
Med Pay also known as medical payment coverage is a benefit you may or may not have on your insurance policy. If med pay is available this type of coverage will be used to pay for medical expenses incurred due to an auto accident. If you have questions, as to if you have med pay on your policy or how much med pay is available please contact your auto insurance agent.

THIRD PARTY
Billing the third party means we will be billing the at fault parties insurance provider. Most third party insurers do not accept claims from medical providers. They will reimburse you directly for the medical bills after treatment is completed. At this time we do not accept third party claims. If you would like to pay at time of service we can provide you with the information you need to bill the third party and you will be reimbursed for your payments. The only exception to this policy is if you are being represented by an experienced personal injury attorney. If we agree to the personal injury attorney lien (signed by both the patient and attorney), you will not have to pay for the treatments at time of service.

PERSONAL INJURY ATTORNEY
If you are being represented by an experienced personal injury attorney, we will require that you have a signed lien on file. The lien must be signed by you and your attorney. It is sole and absolute discretion of Greenawalt Chiropractic if we accept the attorney lien. If we agree to the lien you will not have to pay for your treatment at the time of service. Instead, payment in full will be paid directly to Greenawalt Chiropractic from the attorney out of the proceeds from the settlement.

PERSONAL HEALTH INSURANCE
In most cases we do not bill personal health insurance. If you are not the at-fault party your health insurance will most likely not cover the medical bills regarding the personal injury accident. If you have chosen to have us bill your health insurance and see if they will cover, you will be responsible for the copay/coinsurance/deductible amount due at the time of service. If your health insurance provider denies coverage or asks for a refund on the payments at a later date you will be responsible for the balance due on your account.

CASH
If you would like to pay for your visits as you go, you are welcome to make payments on each visit. Payments as per our office policies are due at the time of service. We do not have payment plans for personal injury cases at this time.
