The “free” Foot Scans that are offered at Greenawalt Chiropractic utilize equipment designed by Foot Levelers. Using their equipment, we “take a picture” of the bottom of your bare feet, and use that picture to show you, the patient, where you place pressure on the bottoms of your feet, compared to where you “should” be placing pressure on the bottoms of your feet when you stand and/or walk. Based on that scan, custom-made orthotics can be ordered through Foot Levelers, to help correct the issues with the amount of unnecessary pressure you’re placing on the feet, which can lead to ankle, knee, hip, low back, upper back, and even neck problems.
